Significant Professional Accomplishments
Bob is a consultant for Insurance Strategies Consulting. He
has chaired the design group and managed a week-long training
program for new financial examiners, which is co-sponsored
by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC)
and the Society of Financial Examiners (SOFE). This program
won an Award of Excellence from the American Society of Association
Executives and has continued for the past twelve years.
Bob has served as a resource person and frequent instructor
in the Ken Smith Financial Regulation Program conducted each
year at Drake University. This is a two-week program directed
to more experienced property and casualty financial regulators.
Bob has served on the Board of Governors of the Society
of Financial Examiners and as a member of the Executive Committee.
He was elected President of the Society for 1991 - 1992 and
was presented the Society's Founders Award in 2000. |
